Mary C. Gray, 98, of Division Street, East Greenwich, died peacefully, Friday, January 31, 2020 at the HopeHealth Hospice Center in Providence. She was the wife of W. Malcom Gray. They had been married for 70 years at the time of his death in 2015.
Mary was born in Upper Montclair, New Jersey, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Mary Powell Church. Before moving to New England, she was a long-time resident of Silver Spring, MD.
Mary was an avid gardener and enjoyed birding and hiking.
She leaves her daughters: Alves Weirman and her husband, Frank of Lincoln, NE and Anne Rothenberg and her husband, Bob of North Kingstown, RI, a son-in-law George Apple of Berlin, MD, nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
A memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held in March at Swan Point Cemetery.
