Obituary

Edward A. Colucci, 88, of Old County Road, Smithfield, passed away Saturday surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Claire (Campo) Colucci. They had been married for 63 years.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Antonio and Clementina (Lombardi) Colucci. He had lived in Smithfield for 40 years previously living in Providence. He served with the US Coast guard during the Korean Conflict.

Edward was a self-employed CPA before retiring in 2010. He was an avid golfer and was a member and past president of the Mal Brown Club at Providence College. He was also a member of the RI Society of CPA’s and
St. Ann’s Holy Name Society.

Besides his wife, he leaves his children, Edward Colucci Jr. of El Cerrito, CA, Karen Colucci Pelletier and her husband Andrew of Milton, MA, Michael J. Colucci, Esq. and his former wife, Andrea of Cumberland, David Colucci of Smithfield, Robert Colucci and his wife, Donna of Wakefield, Michelle Davidsen and her husband Kevin of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; his grandchildren, Michael, Andrew and Joseph Colucci, Luke, Julia and Andrew Pelletier, Matthew, Thomas and Lillian Colucci and Garrett, Anaka and Scarlett Davidsen. He was the brother of the late Mary Varrecchione and Carlo Colucci.

His Funeral will be held Friday at 9am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Greenville Common, Greenville. A Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Michael’s Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield. Burial in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation Thursday 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to St. MIchael's Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield, RI 02917
