Brockton – Peter A. Venezia, age 89, of Fairhaven, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2020 at the VA Boston Healthcare Center. He was the beloved husband of the late Geraldine M. (Lako) Venezia.
Peter was born in Boston, MA to the late Pietro A. and Antonette (Simonelli) Venezia. Peter had served in the U.S. Coast Guard and worked as a mechanical engineer for both Raytheon and Polaroid over the years.
He is survived by his son, James M. Venezia; grandsons, Kimo Nagatori and Matthew Nagatori. He was also the father of the late Theresa Nagatori and brother of 9 deceased brothers and sisters.
Peter’s visiting hours will be held on Thursday, February 6th from 9:00 A.M. - 10:00 A.M. at Perry Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at Knollwood Cemetery located on 321 High Street, Canton, MA at 11:30 A.M.
