Virginia M. (Carroll) Kelley, originally of Charlestown , now a resident of Stratham, NH, passed away Thursday, January 23rd. She was 86. Born and raised in Charlestown, she was the daughter of the late Vance and Lena (White) Carroll.
Virginia loved to spend time with her family. She especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Virginia's family was her pride and joy. Virginia enjoyed traveling with her husband Joseph on numerous cruises all over the world. Virginia's favorite destination was Ireland where she established relationships with long lost relatives. Virginia was a dedicated wife, a great mom, loving grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed.
Virginia was the beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Kelley Sr. She was the devoted mother of Joseph Kelley and his wife Betsy, Maureen Moore and her husband Richard, Dennis Kelley and his wife Helene, Timothy Kelley, and Ruthe daSilva and her husband Eddie. She was the loving Grammy of Gary, Christopher, Julia, Deirdre, Dennis Jr., Kendra, Frank, Kayla, Jay, Jack and Justin and the loving great-grammy of Mariah, Christopher, Josephine, Maya, Liv, Brooke and Sunneva. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Wednesday, January 29th at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 – 8 PM.
