Josh Holton, 32, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, January 23, 2020, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 3 PM, Sunday, January 26, 2020, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Rex Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Luke Cemetery, Irwin County. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Josh was born April 9, 1987, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to Coleman & Norma Ethridge Holton. He formerly worked as a machine operator at Southern Veneer. He enjoyed playing the guitar and riding 4-wheelers. Josh will be greatly missed by his Great Dane, Captain. He attended Christian Family Center in Soperton.
He is survived by his parents, Coleman & Norma Holton; a sister, Amanda Holton; maternal grandmother, Virginia Ethridge; an uncle, Chris Ethridge; and an aunt, Cindy Waldrop, all of Fitzgerald. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Norman Ethridge, Etsel Holton, Dot Whatley, Ed Whatley, and Reuben Branam.
