Natalie C. (Fitzgerald) Barnett 86, died peacefully, surrounded by her family, Thursday January 23, 2020, at Countryside Healthcare in Milford, following a long illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Edgar R. Barnett.
Born June 1, 1933, in Boston a daughter, of the late Francis P. and Violet T. (Tibbetts) Fitzgerald, she was a former resident of West Roxbury and Bellingham, until moving to Medway over 57 years ago.
She was raised and educated in Boston, and was devoted to her husband and raising her children.
Natalie enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox, cooking, gardening and crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her children, Michael K. Barnett of Medway, Mark S. Barnett and his companion Karyn Clark of Hopedale, Michelle M. Bassett and her husband Mike of Bellingham, Matthew J. Barnett and his wife Teresa of Bellingham, Melissa A. Latosek of Bellingham and Maureen E. Gervais and her husband Justin of Medway.
Also surviving are her grandchildren, James Joanis, Jason Joanis and his wife Ginny, Jayel Gervais, AJ Latosek, Tyler Gervais, and her great grandchildren, Damien, Noah, Lucas, Connor and Scarlett Joanis.
Natalie was the sister of the late George Jones and Earl Jones.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass Wednesday Jan. 29th, in St. Brendan Parish, 384 Hartford Ave. Bellingham, MA at 10AM.
Interment will follow at Union Street Cemetery, Franklin.
At Natalie's request there are no calling hours.
