Mr. Francis E. Sensale, a resident of Medford for more than 68 years and beloved husband of the late Claire P. (Kirby) passed away at the Winchester Hospital in Winchester on Thursday morning, January 23, 2020. He was 95 years old.
Born in Malden, Massachusetts, on August 27, 1924, he was the beloved son of the late Louis and Cecelia (Langello) Sensale. Mr. Sensale was as a Postal Clerk at South Station for more than 30 years. In his spare time, Francis enjoyed playing bingo, visiting Foxwoods and following the boston sports teams. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his loving daughters; Donna Baron and Cecelia and her husband Robert Graffeo of Tewksbury and Frances and her husband Jim Belschner of Stoneham, grandchildren; Brian, Kevin, Michael, Lisa, Stephen and Danny, great-grandchildren; Brent, Katerina, Preston, Alexandra, Austin, Declan and Hannah and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Robert, Michael, Richard and Louis Sensale.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West Medford on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visitation will be held in the church, prior to the mass, from 10 to 11:30 AM. Entombment will be held in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
