Gregory G. Jigerjian, Jr.

Dateline: Middleboro, MA

Gregory G. Jigerjian, Jr., age 43, of Middleboro, formerly of Taunton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 18, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Danielle R. (Duquette) Jigerjian.

Born in Taunton, MA on October 8, 1976, he was the loving son of David and Janice (Kelly) Mendes of Raynham.

Greg grew up in East Taunton and was educated in Taunton Schools. Most recently, he was employed as a welder at Mass Tank Corporation in Middleboro and had previously worked for the Carpenters Union.

A resident of Middleboro for the past twenty years, Greg was a devoted father who simply loved spending time with “His Girls”, who were the apples of his eye. His hobbies included playing cards and riding quads.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his cherished daughters: Vivian S. Jigerjian and Mila R. Jigerjian. He was the dear brother of Maryann Jigerjian of Raynham and the godfather of Kellie Jigerjian of Raynham. He was the stepbrother of David C. Mendes of Berkley and Marie Mendes of Middleboro. He was the loving son-in-law of Maryellen Duquette of Middleboro and the late Bruce Duquette. He was the brother-in-law of Samantha Botteri and her husband Joe of Plymouth and the uncle of Gwen Botteri of Plymouth. He is also survived by numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Friday, January 24th from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave,) Norton.

A service in celebration of his life will be held at the conclusion of visitation on Friday evening at 7:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers and in accordance with his family’s wishes, donations in Greg’s memory may be made payable to the Jigerjian Children’s Fund and sent to North Easton Savings Bank, P.O. Box 124, Middleboro, MA 02346.
