Obituary

New Bedford – Pauline (Iveson) Hambly, 75, of Hixville Road, North Dartmouth, died Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at St. Luke’s Hospital after a long illness. She was the wife of Frederick A. Hambly, Jr.

She was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Albert and Elizabeth M. (Howland) Iveson, and was a lifelong resident of North Dartmouth. She was a self-employed seamstress and dressmaker. Mrs. Hambly was a member of Smith Mills Christian Congregational Church, Cortez Allen Chapter # 161 O.E.S. of Westport and the New Bedford Chamber of Commerce.

Including her husband, she is survived by 2 daughters: Fredette “Bunny” O’Connor of Dartmouth and Linda “Kim” Reynolds of East Freetown; a sister: Virginia Hoffman of Madras, OR; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was mother of the late Cynthia Sylvia.

Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday, February 6, 2006 at the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Road, Westport at 10:00 A.M.

Calling hours Sunday 4 – 7 P.M. with an Eastern Star Service under the direction of Cortez Allen Chapter # 161 at 5 P.M.

Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Westport.
