ANDOVER: Pamela S. (Vecchiarello) Galvin, age 58, a resident of Andover for 30 years, died Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
She was the wife of Norbert R. “Dick” Galvin, with whom she celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary on June 8, 2005.
Born in Woburn on February 13, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Phyllis (Noonan) Vecchiarello.
Mrs. Galvin was raised in Woburn.
She attended Woburn schools and graduated from Woburn High School in 1964.
Mrs. Galvin attended Chandler College in Boston and received her Degree in Marketing in 1966.
She was currently employed as the director of the Country Day School of West Andover, where she worked for over 20 years.
Mrs. Galvin was a communicant and a member of the folk group choir at St. Robert Bellarmine Church.
She was a former member of the Andona Society of Andover.
Mrs. Galvin enjoyed singing and traveling with her husband to the Caribbean and vacationing on Cape Cod.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter; Jennifer B. Salisbury and her husband Jesse of South Portland, ME
Calling hours Friday, Feb. 3rd, from 4-8 p.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 198 Haggett’s Pond Road, Andover. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Feb. 4th at 10 a.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Church. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury.
