Obituary

Ralph P. Beyer, 80, of New Bedford died February 1, 2006 at Alden Court Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness.
He was the husband of Mary L. (Fredette) Beyer.
Born in Acushnet, the son of the late Fred W. and Mary A. (Rooney) Beyer, he lived in New Bedford most of his life.
Mr. Beyer was a communicant of St. Lawrence Church.
He was formerly employed by the City of New Bedford Forestry Department for many years until his retirement.
Mr. Beyer served as an aviation metalsmith in the US Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; 2 daughters, Ann Telesmanick, and her husband Richard, of New Bedford and Patricia Ozug of Fall River; a brother, James Beyer of New Bedford; a sister, Virginia Broadland of New Bedford; 4 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late William Kelly, Fred Kelly, Mary Wood, Virginia Pierce and Alice Hall.
His private Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, February 4th at St. Lawrence Church. Burial followed in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
