Dorian B. Hunt, age 79, a longtime resident of Mansfield, passed away on Friday. January 10, 2020 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.
Born in Manhattan, New York on January 1, 1941, she was a loving daughter of the late Donald and Marietta (Gannon) Brice.
Dorian grew up and was educated in Scarsdale, New York and received her master’s degree in Holistic Medicine and Health from Manhasset College.
A resident of Mansfield for the past fifty years, Dorian was a self-employed Yoga Instructor, a job she truly loved and enjoyed. She also wrote and was the author of the books Inner Gardening and Medicine for the Soul. She loved spending time with her adoring family and her hobbies included walking and playing cards.
She was the devoted mother of Gregory B. Hunt of Attleboro, Eric J. Hunt and his wife Annmarie of Norton, Brett C. Hunt and his fiancé Katie Consalvo of Attleboro and the late Kyle D. Hunt. Cherished grandmother of Kayla, Chloe, Allison, Hannah, Brice, Ben and Catherine. She was the longtime companion of Michael Marchetti, with whom she made her home. She was the dear sister Barbara McLaughlin of Connecticut, Joan Mellon of California and Marietta Roberts of Florida.
Visiting hours have been omitted and any future services to be held will be announced at a later date.
