Mikhail Yashchishin, age 83, passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, January 10th, 2020 at Norwood Hospital. He leaves behind his loving wife of 61 years, Mariya Yashchishin, along with four children, daughter Nadya and husband Peter Spodarik, son Ihor and wife Halyna Yashchyshyn, daughter Irina and husband Mikhail Kurilo, daughter Lyubov and husband Nikolay Perun as well as six grandchildren, Kristina Yashchishin, Oksana and husband Eric Gomes, Taras Kurilo, Ivan Perun, Orysya Kurilo, Igor Perun and one great-grandchild Julian Gomes. He will live on in the hearts of many.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, January 13th from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with prayer service at 6:30 P.M. at Dockray and Thomas Funeral Home at 455 Washington St, Canton, MA 02021. The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 14th at 10:00 A.M. at Christ the King Ukrainian Catholic Church at 146 Forest Hills St, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130. The Burial will follow at St Joseph Cemetary at 990 Lagrange St, Boston, MA 02132.
