Avicena Hernandez 79, passed away January 6, 2020 .
She leaves a son, Gilberto Hernandez of Leicester, 3 daughters, Zoraya of Worcester, Elizabeth of Auburn, and Alexandra of Madrid, Spain, 2 brothers in Columbia, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She was born October 15, 1940 in Bogata, Columbia a daughter of the late Juan and Purificacion (Franco) Hernandez.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Akuilino Hernandez.
Avicena was a member of St. Louis Church in Webster and also helped raise her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Her Funeral Mass will be Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 11 am in St. Louis Church, Lake St., Webster followed by burial in St. Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery.
A calling period will be 9:30-10:30 am prior to the Funeral Mass at the ROBERT J. MILLER FUNERAL HOME and LAKE CHAPEL, 366 School St., Webster.
