Obituary

Thomas C. Rocheleau 81, of Franklin, died on Monday January 6, 2020. He leaves his wife of 61 years, Roberta M. (Dube) Rocheleau, a sister-in-law Rita P. Takessian of Blackstone, and many nieces and nephews.

He was born in Providence, RI, son of the late Conrad and Leona (Renaud) Rocheleau, and died at Blaire House in Milford after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

He was very capable and interested in electronics. While growing up in Central Fall, RI the Pawtucket Times did an article on him at age 15 about spending his after school hours working part time at various TV repair shops.

He worked at the Foxboro Company for many years and later at Tektronix working on test equipment for TV broadcast stations. He enjoyed filling in his evening hours for most of his life operating movie projectors at many local and nearby theaters.

He was a member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers, the New England Antique Radio Club, Mass Bay Railroad Enthusiasts, and held FCC licenses for Ham Radio, TV Technician & Projectionist.

Thomas enjoyed spending vacations on his boat at Lake Winnipesaukee.

Private funeral services will be held.
