Michael E. “Mike” Hendley, Sr. 65, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Monday, January 6, 2020, at Irwin County Hospital, in Ocilla, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Thursday, January 9, 2020, at Old Valley Grove Cemetery in Irwin County, Georgia, with the Rev. David Clark officiating. The family will receive friends at the Paulk Funeral Home in Ocilla, from 12:45 PM until 1:45 PM.
Mr. Hendley was born November 6, 1954, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Buddy Edwin Hendley & Sarah Ann Griffin. He graduated from Irwin County High School and retired from Delphi as an assembly line battery inspector. Mr. Hendley enjoyed watching and attending NASCAR races. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his son Michael E. Hendley, Jr. & Leigh Ann of Fitzgerald and two grandchildren: Michael Lane Hendley and Lucy Belle Hendley.
