TEWKSBURY - Louise A. (Caggiano) Campbell, age 79, a resident of Tewksbury for the last
five decades, died Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 31, at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston,
following a brief illness. She was the wife of Robert J. Campbell, who died October 9th, 2003.
She was born in Chelsea, August 19, 1926, a daughter of the late Michael and Angelina
(Sorrentino) Caggiano. She was raised in Chelsea, but had lived in Tewksbury since 1957.
She was a communicant of St. William’s Church.
Mrs. Campbell was fondly described as having devoted her life to her family.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia Taylor and her husband David of West
Palm Beach, FL, Kathleen D’Agostino and her husband Phillip of Wilmington; four grandchildren,
Emily and Matthew Taylor and twins, Nicole and Christopher D’Agostino; one sister, Marie
Donarumo and her husband John of Chelsea; two sisters-in-law, Josephine Caggiano of Revere,
Carol Caggiano of W. Newbury; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also sister of the late Vincent, Rocco, Guy, and Anthony Caggiano.
Her
Funeral Mass was held Saturday, Feb. 4, in St. William’s Church, Tewksbury,
followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Memorials to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen ST.,
Framingham, MA 01701 will be appreciated.
