Emaya H. Fontenelle, age 1, died January 1, 2020 unexpectedly at home.
Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of Dany T. and Erin E. (Bruce) Fontenelle.
Emaya was a beautiful, loving, happy girl. She loved music, singing and dancing. She gave the sweetest whistle kisses. She was always smiling and laughing. Emaya loved the water and going to the beach, playtime and listening to her Mommy sing. Her favorite song was You Are My Sunshine. She shared a beautiful bond with her brother, sister and cousin, forever favorite playmates. She will forever be loved and missed.
Survivors include her parents; 3 brothers, Dominik, Demetri and Domani; a sister, Elianna; her grandparents, Dennis Bruce, Nora Marginson and Veronique Fontenelle; her aunts and uncles, Ryan Bruce and his companion Ashley Leaver, Katie Bruce, Sara Coyne and her husband Rob, Lizette Fontenelle, Dale Fontenelle, Leslie Fontenelle, Jamie Fontenelle and Donny Marginson; and her great-aunts and great-uncles, Eugene Benoit, Jeffrey Benoit, Felix Bruce and his wife Susan, Richard Bruce and his wife Rosemary, Sandra Hogan, Michael Bruce and his wife Roberta, and Dawn O'Hara and her fiancé David Mullen.
She was the granddaughter of the late Loretta (Benoit) Bruce.
Her Funeral Service will be private.
