WORCESTER- Shelia Quiles Santiago, 45, of 170 Austin Street, died Tuesday, January 31st in her home. She leaves her husband, Hector Quiles, 3 sons, John Felder, Chris Quiles and Stevenson Newkirk, Jr. all of Worcester, 3 daughters, Lisa M. Quiles, Emily Quiles and Maria Quiles all of Worcester, her father, Ismael Santiago of Puerto Rico, 6 brothers, Thomas Santiago of New York, Roberto and Juan Lozada both of Worcester, and Ismael Santiago, Jr. of Alabama, 4 sisters, Yolanda Lozada Smith of South Carolina, Sugeiry and Jagaida Santiago and Mayela Serrano all of New York, and 14 grandchildren whom she loved very much.
She was born in Hollywood, FL, the daughter of the late Ella Santiago (Beam) Hayes. Mrs. Santiago worked as a teacher for the Worcester Head Start program.
The funeral is Friday, February 3rd, with a service at 7:00 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. A calling hour will be held from 6:00 PM until the time of the funeral.
