Irene L. (Roy) Blondeau, 77, of Manchester died January 30, 2006 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston after a long illness.
Born in Manchester on March 11, 1928, she was the daughter of Alphonse and Regina (Gourde) Roy. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Mrs. Blondeau worked at RCL Electronics in Manchester for 13 years. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting, gardening, ceramics and watching Tiger Woods play golf.
The family includes her husband of 58 years, Roland J. Blondeau of Manchester; seven children, Susan Charest-Lyons of Tavares, FL, Roland M. Blondeau of Center Barnstead, Robert E. Blondeau and Claire M. Blondeau both of Manchester, Doris T. Pelchat and Denise M. Boyd both of Goffstown and Marcel J. Blondeau of Manchester; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; one aunt, one cousin and nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday February 3, 2006 in St. Patrick Church, 138 Coolidge Ave., Manchester. Committal prayers followed in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester. After cremation, encryptment was in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum.
