Obituary

Mr. John Paul Booth, a resident of Andover Massachusetts and beloved husband of Patricia Culver Booth, passed away in his Andover home under hospice and family care on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2020. John passed away as a result of congestive heart failure and related complications. He was 86 years of age.

John lived a very full and active life caring and supporting his family. He was born on September 23, 1933 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. He was the beloved son of the late Roy and Olive Booth and the middle child of 10 other brothers and sisters. John graduated from Marlborough Massachusetts High School and went on to and graduate from Gordon College where he met his beautiful wife of 63 years of marriage, Patricia. John went on to serve in the US Army as a Second Lieutenant and graduate of Artillery and Missile School.

John had a very successful career Raytheon. He stated working as a warehouse stockroom attendant and worked his way up though various jobs most notably Plant Manager Raytheon Equipment Division Waltham Massachusetts and VP Raytheon Aircraft Company Wichita Kansas. Although he had great responsibility during his career, John was most notably known by the people he touched and impacted throughout his professional and personal life. He provided leadership, guidance and mentorship to so many during his life. He was very caring and passionate about helping others be successful.

John was the family patriarch and a man of strong faith for the Lord Jesus. His faith guided him and his wife throughout their life. His devotion to the Lord provided him with a full and successful life and also provided him with peace during his final days. John is survived by his wife Patricia Booth of Andover, daughter Amy McClellan and husband Tommy, son Gordon Booth and wife Chortip, daughter Cindy Verfaillie and husband Don, and son Daniel Booth and wife Purvi along with 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
