Bernadette Marie (Carty) Spellman, 80, of Dedham, MA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 24, 2019. She was born August 25, 1939 in Boston, daughter of Bernard and Catherine (Coffey) Carty, wife of the late Paul Spellman, sister of the late Michael Carty and Richard Carty, and sister-in-law of Judy Carty.
She worked for many years as an administrative assistant for John Hancock Insurance Company. The most important people in her life were her niece, Leah Carty, and her nephews, Christopher and Rich Carty. Her annual trips to Cape Cod with her husband Paul and trip to Disney World with her family were cherished memories.
The family would like to thank Pam Goldstein for all her efforts in assisting Bernadette during her illness. A private burial service will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
