CHICOPEE ~ Daniel A. “Danny” Landry, 63, of the Aldenville section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Saturday, December 28, 2019. He passed into Eternal Life at his home surrounded by the care and comfort of his loving family. He was born in Holyoke on July 26, 1956, a beloved son of the late Donald A. and Rosella E. (Ziemer) Landry. He was raised in Chicopee, graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School and was a lifelong resident of Aldenville. He was last employed as a machinist for the Precision Tool Company in Agawam. During his leisure time, Danny enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Softail motorcycle, playing horseshoes and watching the stars while enjoying a bonfire. Most of all, he loved his family and his many friends. He leaves his beloved wife and best friend of 13 years, Joann M. (Lagoy) Landry; his dear brothers-in-law, James J. Lagoy and David G. Lagoy, both of Chicopee; and his many dear nephews, nieces, cousins and numerous friends. He will also be sadly missed by faithful canine companion, his dog, Brutus.
