SOMERSET – Olivia Paul, age 86, of Somerset, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 26, 2019 at Somerset Ridge Nursing Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry Paul. Born in Arrifes, São Miguel, Açores, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Maria do Carmo (Moniz) dos Reis. Prior to coming to the U.S., Olivia lived in Bermuda for 10 years. She was a devoted Christian and loved to sing old hymns. She especially loved spending time with her family.
Olivia is survived by her daughter Deborah Mota, son-in-law Roland Mota of Somerset; beloved granddaughter Andrea Mota Shepard and her husband George Shepard; siblings Alda Mello, Berta Tavares, David Reis, Duarte Reis and Elias Reis. As well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Maria Santa Pereira and Natalia deMelo.
Her funeral service will take place at the Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church on Monday, December 30th at 10 A.M. Extended calling hours will also be at the Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church from 9-10 A.M. Interment in Nathan Slade Cemetery, Somerset.
