Obituary

Augustine F. Lusignan, Jr., “Frank” 92, of Central Pike, Foster, died peacefully Tuesday, December 24th at home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of the late Jean C. (Fenner) Lusignan.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Augustine F. Lusignan Sr. and Sylvia S. (Davis) Lusignan. He had lived in Foster for 73 years previously living in Providence. Augustine was a Korean War Army Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 101. He was a self employed General Contractor and had been the proprietor of Frank’s Variety in the late 50’s and early 60’s.
He had been a member of the Town of Foster’s Planning Board, Zoning Board and it’s Building Inspector. He loved to travel and explored North America with his late wife.

He leaves his children, Chuck Lusignan and wife Dawn of Foster, Fred Lusignan and wife Marge of Foster, Paula Lusignan and husband Tom Randall of Harrisville and Frank Lusignan and wife Deb of Foster. He was the grandfather of Danielle Lusignan, Erin Lailer, Kristin Imswiler, Kimberly Lusignan, Jacqui Lusignan, Susan Lusignan, Benjamin Lusignan and Austin Lusignan and great grandfather of Billy, Nolan, Joey, Jackson, Gabe, Liam and soon to be William. He was the brother of Theresa Walker and Evelyn Baker.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 4th at 12:00pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Foster Public Library, 184 Howard Hill Road, Foster, RI 02825.
