QUINN, Enda of Kilronan, Inishmore, Aran Islands, Co. Galway passed December 18, 2019 after a brief illness. Cherished husband of Mary J. (Thornton). Devoted father of Joseph Quinn and his wife Michelle, Rosemarie Cronin and her husband John Cronin, James Quinn of Minnesota and the late Michael Quinn. Also survived by his grandchildren Stephen, Colin and Kathryn Quinn and Shane, Patrick, Christopher and Michael Cronin. Born in Kilronan, Aran Islands, Enda migrated to America at the age of 18 where he raised his family after retiring from the MBTA after 26 years.
In 2005, Enda and Mary returned to his beloved Aran Islands to care for his mother and made their home there. Enda was an avid reader and loved Irish music.
Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Monday, December 30th at 8:30am. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa Church at 9:30am. Visiting hours Sunday, December 29th 4-8 pm. Relatives and friends invited. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
