Charlene Wilfert-Adams, age 56, of New Bedford passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 14, 2019. Charlene was born and raised in Weymouth. She married her husband, David, while on military deployment in Denmark in 1983. They started a family in Bristol, CT and then moved back to live in various south shore communities. Charlene had a good work ethic, loved helping people, and most of all enjoyed spending time with family.
Charlene is survived by her daughter Erica Adams and her significant other Jose Alicea of Whitman, her grandchildren Lilly and Evelyn, her husband David Adams of Abington, and her siblings Karen, David, and Jennifer. Charlene is the daughter of Mildred Wilfert (Fuller) of Lakeville and the late George Wilfert.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visitation for Charlene on Friday, December 20, 2019 from 9-11am in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA 02190. A service will take place in the funeral home immediately following the visitation at 11am. Burial will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
