Gloucester
Eric J. Provencher, 52, of Gloucester, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, December 7, 2019 at his home in Gloucester. He was the husband of Rachel E. Wright Provencher.
Born in Salem and raised in Beverly, he was the son of June L. (Cheney) Provencher of Peabody, and the late Francis J. Provencher. Most of his career he worked as a painting contractor for several companies but primarily for Laughlin Homes, Inc. of Beverly. Eric loved the construction industry, especially home projects and the ocean.
In addition to his wife of Sanford, ME and mother, he is survived by two daughters, Amber W. Provencher of Biddeford, ME and Abigail W. Provencher of Limerick, ME, his brother, Craig J. Provencher and his wife Sandy of Beverly. He was the brother of the late Daryl W. Provencher.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visiting hours on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St., [Route 114 – 1 A] Salem. Burial, at a later, date will be private.
