Obituary

David Paul Srebnick of Medford died on Sunday, December 8. Raised and educated in Somerville, he was the son of the late Max and Lucille (Giordano) Srebnick. David proudly served in the Army National Guard during the Vietnam War. After returning home he was employed by the Polaroid Corporation as a quality control specialist.

David was the beloved husband of Marilyn (D'Antilio) Srebnick, and the devoted father of Jason Srebnick and his wife Michelle of Chelmsford, Lynette Desharnais of Medford, and Joshua Srebnick and his wife Kathy of Salem, New Hampshire. He was the loving grandfather of Cameron, Kyle, Julia, Emma and Calla, and the dear brother of the late John and Albert Srebnick, and his late twin sister Rosemarie Srebnick. David is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, friends, and grand-dogs Stoli and Ellie.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, on Saturday, December 14 at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours have been respectfully omitted. Following the services, all guests are cordially invited to attend a luncheon from 1:30 to 4:30 PM at Cafe Escadrille located at 26 Cambridge St., Burlington, MA 01803 (Exit 33A off Rte. 128/I-95).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in gratitude to Brigham and Women’s Hospital to support the Shapiro Center.
