Simonne B. (Nadeau) Laflamme, 87, of New Bedford died Saturday January 28, 2006 peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends. She was the wife of Alphee N. Laflamme.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Alfred and Annie (Laliberte) Nadeau, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph-St. Therese Church.
Mrs. Laflamme was formerly employed as a dental receptionist for Dr. Gerald Carrier until her retirement.
She was a member of the Y.M.C.A., where she enjoyed swimming and was a member of the Investment Club. She was a volunteer performing community services for the blind. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and entertaining them in her home.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Diane L. Laflamme of Taunton; a sister, Lucille Cote of New Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday February 1, 2006 at 10 AM in St. Joseph-St. Therese Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting hours at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Tuesday January 31, 2006 from 4-8 PM.
