Robert F. “Bob” “Uncle Bob” Wallace
Avid Runner

TEWKSBURY: Robert F. “Bob” “Uncle Bob” Wallace, age 64, a lifelong resident of Tewksbury, passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital on Thursday, December 5, 2019.

Born in Lowell on June 18, 1955, he was the son of the late Richard H. and Rosalia (Ducey) Wallace.

Bob attended Tewksbury schools and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School in 1973.

Prior to his illness, he worked as a metal plater for Aotco Company in Billerica.

Lovingly referred to as “Bob” or “Uncle Bob”, he was the World’s best uncle, successfully completed multiple marathon distance races, an avid Bruce Springsteen fan and Parrott Head, and Boston sports fan.

Bob loved to travel, and some of his favorite destinations were Las Vegas, the beaches of the Gulf Coast of Alabama, Aruba, Lake Ossipee, and Plum Island. In addition, Uncle Bob loved to read and enjoyed spending time with his “Legal’s friends”.

He is the brother of Richard H. Wallace, Jr. and his wife Patty(Meuse) of Foley, AL, Deborah Sullivan and her husband Thomas Sullivan, III, Ronald C. Wallace and his wife Joy (Cobleigh) all of Tewksbury, and the late Diane Paglia. Proud uncle of Michael, Marc, and Michelle Paglia, Richard Wallace, III, Kristy Zina, Amy Hill, Thomas Sullivan, IV, Kelli Sullivan, Marisa Robertson, Kaitlin Sullivan, and Ronnie and Robbie Wallace. He also leaves many grandnieces and grandnephews.

Calling hours are Monday, Dec. 9, from 4-7 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. A Life Celebration Service will held Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Tewksbury Cemetery.
