Dorothy M. (Franklin) Boyd, 85, longtime Anderson resident, died December 5, 2019 at Rose Walk Village in Lafayette.
Dorothy was born on June 8, 1934 in Upland, Indiana, the daughter of Russell and Susan Franklin. She worked as a waitress/cook at various local restaurants. She enjoyed watching tv, crossword puzzles, knitting, crocheting, and cats.
She is survived by three children; Lucy Boyd, Tracy Boyd and Debbie Stephens; three grandchildren, Blake Boyd, Amy (James) Ross and Steve (Tami) Fridley; two great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Fridley and Gabriel Rivera; a brother, Gene (Judy) Franklin; several nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her mother Susan Harper, father, Russell Franklin, two sisters, Eileen Simpson and Barbara Stroud, a great-grandchild, Kaiden Haines.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral.
