In Berkley, December 5, 2019, Donna M. Jeffrey, Age 74, passed away peacefully in her home following a lengthy illness. Donna leaves her beloved husband, Raymond Jeffrey of Berkley. She was born in Augusta, ME, the daughter of the late William & Rita (White) Murphy. Donna had been a resident of Berkley since 1976 and was formerly of Taunton. She was educated in Taunton schools and a graduate of Taunton High School. Following high school she attended and graduated from St. Ann’s Hospital School of Nursing in Fall River. Donna was employed for Morton Hospital as a cardiac rehab nurse. She enjoyed running, bicycling, she competed in a triathlon, and above all cherished her time with family, especially her loving grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Donna leaves her children, James Contreras of Denver, Colorado and Lynn Hunt of Westport. And step children, Ray Jeffrey of Detroit, MI and Melissa Jeffrey Sullivan of Natick. She also leaves her grandchildren; Cameron, Joshua, Hannah, Mary, Rachel, Jake and Elsie Rose and her brother Dr. James Murphy of Hilton Head, S.C. Donna is also survived by her brother Dr. James Murphy of Hilton Head, S.C. and Donna also leaves several nieces and nephews. A funeral home service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Thursday, December 12th at 11am. Relatives and friends are also invited to visiting hours on Wednesday from 5-7pm. Burial in the family lot in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton.
