SOMERSET – Alfred R. “Freddie” Michael, age 82 of Somerset, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019 at Charlton Memorial Hospital with his family by his side. Born in Fall River, Freddie was the husband of Natalie (Medeiros) Michael and the son of the late August and Florence (Read) Michael.
Prior to retiring, Freddie worked for the Somerset School Department as a maintenance man at the Somerset High School. Freddie was an avid golfer and a longtime member of the Fall River Country Club, where he currently holds the record for the only golfer to get a Hole in One on every Par 3 Hole.
Besides his wife of Somerset, he is survived by his niece: Lisa Boulanger and his nephew: Michael Bienvenue. He was also the brother of the late Mary Louise Bienvenue.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Freddie’s memory to a charity of your choice.
Freddie’s visitation will take place in the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main Street on Tuesday, Dec. 10th from 8:00-9:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in Nathan Slade Cemetery, Somerset.
