Anna Elizabeth (Perrin) Leney, 82, of Milford, NH died January 26, 2006 at the Catholic Medical Center after a brief illness.
She was born in Lynn, MA, on June 17, 1923, the daughter of Edward and Julia (Hurley) Perrin. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s Girls High School in Lynn, Class of 1940. She attended college in Canada.
Early in her career, she had been a teacher in various schools. She also worked as a local and regional reporter for the Lowell Sun for many years, while living in Dracut, MA, and maintained a lifelong interest in politics and world affairs. Her most rewarding career, of course, was the raising and nurturing of a large and loving family. Her legacy to her children is one of selflessness and strength, and her loss will be felt deeply by everyone whose life she has touched.
