Tim was born January 19, 1957, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Dane Ivey & Louise Chasteen Parker. He was a 1975 graduate of Fitzgerald High School where he played many high school sports. For over 40 years, Tim has worked in the forestry industry, including working with Union Camp as well as being a timber harvester, cruiser, and buyer. An avid hunter, he loved being in the woods and was at peace in nature. He was a wonderful example of a Godly husband and father and left a perfect example for his children to follow. Tim was full of joy and lived life to the fullest every day. His legacy of love means the world to his family and they all cherished the time they spent together. He enjoyed golfing and going to the beach. Tim was an active member of Arbor Baptist Church where he served as Deacon, choir member, and formerly taught Sunday school for 5th & 6th grade boys. He loved to sing and give praise to Jesus and cared deeply for his church family. He never met a stranger and his big laugh and trademark beard will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Julie Crapo Parker of Fitzgerald; children and their spouses: Zachary Timothy Parker & Amber of Warwick, Matthew Timothy Parker & Jennifer of Fitzgerald, and Rachel Elizabeth Parker of Fitzgerald; a granddaughter, McKenna Marie Parker; his brother, Tracy Parker & Tammy of Fitzgerald; father & mother-in-law, Duane & Denise Crapo of Cookeville, Tennessee; a sister-in-law, Sarah Crapo Hall & Lamar of Fitzgerald; a brother-in-law, Jonathan Thomas Crapo; nephews: Dana Parker, Jess Parker, Adam Bertrand, and Oliver Merritt; nieces: Heather Bertrand, Montana Merritt, and Rachel Lott & Keith; a great-niece, Khloe Parker and Grace Lynn Sealey; and a great-nephew, Jackson Bertrand. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Preston Parker and a great-niece, Denver Lott.
