Earl E. Hartley, 84, of Anderson died December 2, 2019 at Community Hospital in Anderson.
He was born in Anderson on January 5, 1935 and graduated from Anderson High School. He owned and operated Hartley Electric Company for over 60 years.
Earl enjoyed fishing, gambling and loved an ice cold Budweiser, but his true love was working. He could not sit still and always had to be doing something.
Earl would do anything for his friends and family.
He is survived by his seven children, Michelle See, Cheryl (Randy) Kistler, Don (Chris) Hartley, Darla Hartley, Rhonda Reeves, Kelly (Rob) Thurber and Linda Hartley; Several grandchildren and great grandchildren; special friends, Pat Thurston, Bud Riley, Jeff Hollon and Kurt Whetsel.
Earl loved all animals and leaves behind a cat named Stray.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2019 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Chaplain Amos Carmichael officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday before the service.
Donations may be made to the Animal Protection League in Anderson, The Madison County Humane Society or the charity of the donor's choice.
