Obituary

Raymond J. Patchen, 86, of Londonderry, NH, died Saturday, November 23, 2019 in the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH. He was born in Rome, NY on August 17, 1933, a son of the late William and Ella Mae (Hall) Patchen. He had been a resident of Londonderry for the past 56 years. Ray was a US Air Force veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He retired from the FAA as an air traffic controller in Nashua, NH after 42 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Constance (Boucher) Patchen of Londonderry; his son, Edward J. Patchen and his wife Robin of Edmond, OK, and their children, Nicholas, Alexandra and Jacob; his daughter, Kathleen Susan Patchen of Campton, NH; as well as nieces and nephews, Tim Boucher, Joseph Boucher, Kay Pearman, Lynda Courage, H.J. Patchen, John Kirk, and Christine Blake.

Following cremation, a graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 26th at 1:00pm in the chapel of the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy., Boscawen, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Korean War Veterans Association, Inc., PO Box 407, Charlestown, IL 61920. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry assisted the family with arrangements.
