Jacob “Jake” Charles Stenstrom, 29, of Bridgewater, Massachusetts passed away suddenly from a motor vehicle accident off of Route 495 at 6:20 A.M. November 19th, 2019 in Milford, MA.
Jake was born alongside his twin brother Josh on Friday July 27th, 1990 in Quincy, MA. He was the loving son of Karen Ann Clifford and Erik Paul Stenstrom, a brother to Erik Paul Stenstrom the 2nd, Kyle Jeremiah Stenstrom, and Joshua Tyler Stenstrom, a grandson of Annette C. (Bruno) Clifford and Charles W Clifford and his wife Linda, and is also an uncle of Andrew Payne and Eric Stenstrom. Lastly, it’s important to say that he is also lovingly survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
Jake was also known in the Boston stand up scene as “Jay Garrick”, a name inspired by the original Flash character from DC comics he loved so much. Jake had many passions whether it be getting up on stage for his stand up comedy, working on his sketch art work, or going to various comic con conventions he put his whole heart and effort into everything and anything he did. He was a good man, and anybody that knew him knew he worked as hard if not harder than those around him. He let the work speak for itself and always had a joke ready to go.
Visiting Hours will be held at the Casper Funeral Home located at 187 Dorchester Street in South Boston on Sunday November 24th from the hours of 12:00 to 3:00 PM. Parking will be available nearby at the Local 7 Ironworkers Union Hall, 195 Old Colony Ave, South Boston, Ma 02127. We thank them for their generosity and brotherhood at this painful time.
