Geraldine A. (McFadden) Rodriguez, 60, died at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Thursday, January 26. She was the wife of the late David E. Rodriguez. Born in Quincy, Mrs. Rodriguez was a graduate of Archbishop Williams High School in Braintree. She attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI before graduating from American University in Puerto Rico. She then received her Graduate’s Degree from the University of Puerto Rico. Mrs. Rodriguez was the Director of English as a Second Language (ESL) at Babson College for 7 years before retiring 10 years ago. She was a resident of Easton for 2 years after living in Stoughton for over 20 years.
Mrs. Rodriguez was the loving mother of Katherine Rodriguez of Stoughton, Bridget Frazier of Pembroke and Elizabeth Rodriguez of Brockton. She was the beloved daughter of the late Henry Michael and Margaret (McCue) McFadden and the loving grandmother of Jessica, Jacob, Margaret, Kristen, Mary and Elizabeth. She is also survived by her aunt, Margaret Burke of Wollaston and several cousins.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, January 30 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-5 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Stoughton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Geraldine’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, 01701.
