Roger Earl Harrell, 50, died Thursday, January 26, 2006 at Tift Health Care. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Roger Harrell, Charles Harrell, Roy Harrell, Alex Jordan, William Cleveland and Billy Jordan. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson.
Mr. Harrell was born on August 16, 1955 in Polk County, FL. He was the son of Jessie James Harrell and Ila Mae Owens Harrell, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Buddy Harrell. He worked as a mechanic.
He is survived by a son, Roger Harrell of Tifton; 2 daughters, Bobbie Fletcher of Tifton and Crystal Harrell of Sylvester; 4 brothers, Melvin Harrell of Fitzgerald, Charles Harrell of Fitzgerald, Roy Harrell of Fitzgerald and James Harrell of Fort Meade, FL; and 2 grandchildren, Kymber Fletcher and Roger Harrell, Jr.
