Carl M. Marchetti of Centerville died on Sunday, November 17. Raised and educated in Somerville, he was the son of the late Mario and Theresa (Dugan) Marchetti. Carl was a graduate of Somerville High School and has lived in Centerville for the past 35 years.
Carl was the dear brother of Maureen Heath and her husband James of Medford, and the late Nancy Herra. He was the loving uncle of Edmund Desciscio and his wife Kim of Middleboro, Paul Herra and his wife Virginia of Fitchburg, Julie LeBlanc and her husband Derek of Wilmington, Janice Medeiros and her husband Joshua of Rhode Island, Eric Soldani and his wife Suzy of Danvers, Robert Soldani and his wife Samantha of Lynnfield, and Kyle Heath and his wife Amber of Medford and the late Kevin Soldani. He is also survived by 16 great-nieces and nephews, and his little buddy Caleb.
A memorial mass will be celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, on Saturday, November 30th at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours have been respectfully omitted. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
