Loretta V. Albert (59) of Columbia, Maryland died November 19th in her home under hospice care and surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Boston daughter of Laura (Bennett) Jenkins and the late McDonald Jenkins. Loretta was a school teacher. She attended Brockton and Boston schools and graduated from UMass Amherst. Loretta loved to decorate houses and cats.
In addition to her mother she is survived by a daughter Imani Albert of New York, a brother Gregory Jenkins of Brockton, a sister Laura Ann Jenkins of Brockton and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Services in the New Jerusalem Church 125 Highland Street East Bridgewater, Saturday November 30th at 10 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation in the Church from 9 am prior to services.
