Victoria P. Monett, 58

Dateline: Attleboro, MA

Victoria P. Monett, age 58, of Attleboro, formerly of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, November 18, 2019 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.

Born in Boston, MA on August 30, 1961, she was a loving daughter of Doris V. (Boynton) Monett of Mansfield and the late Frank S. Monett, Sr.

Vicki grew up in Mansfield, was a 1980 graduate of Mansfield High School and graduated from Massasoit Community College in Brockton.

A former longtime resident of Mansfield, she had made her home in Attleboro for the past eleven years. Vicki had worked as a school bus driver for the towns of Sharon and Mansfield and was previously employed as a Certified Nurse Assistant at the former Goddard Hospital in Stoughton.

Vicki’s favorite times by far were those spent with family, especially her cherished grandchildren. She was a member of the Mansfield American Legion Color Guard, an avid and faithful New England Patriots fan and also enjoyed cooking.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her devoted children: Nora M. Monett and Derek E. Monett, both of Attleboro. She was the dear sister of Arnold M. Monett and his wife Zita of Westwood, Frank S. Monett, Jr. of Attleboro, Elizabeth G. Brophy and her husband Mike of Mansfield and Joan M. Salvesen and her husband Paul of Mansfield. She was the adoring grandmother of Zachary, Marshail, Sara, Shawn, Domynoe, Jemyni and the late Breanna. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews and her significant other B Davis and their daughter Alyssah.

Her funeral service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Wednesday, November 27th at 10:00 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield. Burial will follow at the Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, November 26th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home.
