Glenn A. Green, 57, of New Bedford died Saturday January 14, 2006 at home.
He was born in New Bedford, the son of John S. Green of New Bedford and the late Elizabeth (Branch) Green.
He was a member of Union Baptist Church.
Mr. Green served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1972 during the Vietnam War. He was a recipient of the National Defense Service medal, the Vietnam Service medal, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign medal, the Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with palm and the Army Commendation medal.
He will be missed by his family and many friends that he touched in his time on Earth.
Survivors include his father; a sister, Brenda Gonsalves of Newport, RI; 2 brothers, Lawrence Green of San Diego, Calif., and Otis Green of Sacramento, Calif.; 2 nieces and a nephew.
A private Graveside Service was held on Thursday afternoon, January 26th in Rural Cemetery.
