Obituary

HUDSON, NH—Henry L. Paquette, 87 years old, a resident of Hudson, NH, formerly of Greater Lowell, died Wednesday January 25th, at the Community Hospice House, in Merrimack, NH. He was the husband of the late Pauline (Patenaude) Paquette, who died in 1968, and Eleanor (Burndrett) Paquette, who died in 2004.

He was born in Lowell, on April 5, 1918, a son of the late Napolean ‘Paul’ Paquette, and Celida (Pellerin) Paquette, and was educated in the Lowell Public School System.

For over 20 years, Mr. Paquette worked as a milkman, for the H.P. Hood Company. He then worked as a guard for the Brink’s Armored Car Company for 15 years. Following his retirement, his love and skill at woodworking led him to work for Country Kitchen Cabinets, in North Conway, NH. He was an avid golfer and a member of the North Conway Country Club and former member at Vesper Country Club.

He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law: Diane M. and Richard DeRosa, of Lowell; a son and daughter-in-law: Paul H. and Leslie Paquette, of Atkinson, NH; his stepchildren: Jack Kobelenz, and his companion, Betty Belcastro, of Littleton; Debora Kobelenz, and her companion, Rick Siverhus, of Hudson, NH; Mary Ellen and Edward Greaves, of Chelmsford; David and Lisa Kobelenz, of Weare, NH; his grandchildren: Mark Paquette and his wife Heather Rowe, of Tewksbury; Kathleen and Paul DeVito, of Hudson, NH; Stephen and Kerri DeRosa, of Lowell; Christine and James Lowell, of Nashua, NH; and Beth and Timothy Martin, of Lowell; his step-grandchildren: Karen Grantham, of Merrimack, NH; James Kobelenz, of Milford, NH; Anthony Kobelenz, of Hastings, NE; Molly Kobelenz, of Winchester; Emily Kobelenz, of Youngstown, OH; Jason Kobelenz, of Weare, NH; Chelsea Greaves, of Chelmsford; and Rachel Kobelenz, of Hudson, NH; a brother-in-law: James O. Robinson, of Chelmsford; also many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Noella Trombly, Victor Paquette, and step-father of the late Terry Kobelenz.

Friends may call from 8:30 to 9:30 AM Saturday, January 28th, at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38). His Funeral Mass to follow at 10 AM at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH, Lowell. Cremation to follow.
