June A. Sears, age 72, passed away surrounded by the care and comfort of her two daughters on Nov 15, 2019. She was born in Springfield on Nov 13, 1947 to the late James L. Jr. and Betty R. (Howard) Weir. June worked many years as a secretary for Smith & Wesson and then at the Springfield Republican. She leaves her two daughters, Donna Sears of Chicopee and Lori Ibrahim-Sears of Agawam; her husband Thomas Sears of Agawam; two sisters, Judy Estelle of Springfield and Jean Roberts of Clearwater, FL. She was predeceased by two sisters, Sandra Nichols and Janice Smith. Visiting Hours will be held on Thurs, Nov 21, 2019 from 5 to 7 pm at Grise Funeral Home 280 Springfield St. Chicopee. Burial is private.
