SOUTH DARTMOUTH — James B. Sebastian, 58, of South Dartmouth died Friday, Jan. 20, 2006, unexpectedly at home. He was the husband of Susan (LaTaille) Sebastian.
Born in Evanston, Ill., he was the son of the late James F. and Helen (Behmiller) Sebastian. He lived in this area for the past 18 years. Prior to that, he lived in Vermont.
He served with the Peace Corps in Bolivia.
A graduate in business administration from the College of Santa Fe in New Mexico, he was a retired Massachusetts mental health worker.
He was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church and the International Juggling Association.
Mr. Sebastian's interests include gardening, swimming and juggling. A talented musician, he not only wrote music but played piano, guitar and fluke. In his youth, he played for and was lead singer for a rock band, "Dimensions" in Illinois.
Survivors include his widow; four sisters, Katie Hamilton, Rose Arndt, Veronica Kruger and Mary Ellen Bianchi; several nieces and nephews; and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
His memorial service will be at a later date at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in South Dartmouth, Ma.
