Obituary

Lucille Marie Speaks, 98, passed away on November 6, 2019 in Salem, Oregon.

She was born on May 23, 1921 in Caddo, Oklahoma to Herman and Mae (Andrews) Estes.
Lucille married Roger Speaks in 1937. The couple lived in Mabton where they farmed grapes until settling in the Prosser and Grandview area in 1956 where she packed apples. Many years later the couple moved to Salem, Oregon to be near family. She enjoyed knitting, making quilts and cooking.

Lucille is survived by five grandchildren, Debbie Bower of Arkansas, Cindy Drake of Tacoma, Angie Monyak of Dayton, Ken Speaks of Federal Way and Tricia Cummins of Dallas, Oregon; and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Speaks and her son, Kenneth Speaks.
