Obituary

Linda Gail Cottle Warren, 75, of Ty Ty passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2019, in the Memorial Chapel of Tifton’s First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Wayne Roe officiating. Mrs. Warren will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 12, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.

Corey Cottle, Bo Lovein, Greg Branch, Max Brown, Daniel Berckman and John Ellis will serve as pallbearers. Chad Cottle will serve as an honorary palbearer.

Born March 10, 1944 in Dothan, Alabama, Mrs. Warren was the daughter of the late John Thomas Cottle and Jewel Sumner Cottle. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Donald Cottle. She was a homemaker, but years ago, had been a teller at the Bank of Tifton. She was a member of Tifton’s First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Warren is survived by her husband of 54 years, W. L. “Bill” Warren, Jr. of Ty Ty; two sons and one daughter-in-law, William “Brian” Warren of Lakeland, Florida and Jelks and Amy Walker Warren of Tifton; two brothers and one sister-in-;aw, Tommy Cottle and Frankie and Marianna Cottle, all of Ty Ty; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Geraldine Cottle of Ty Ty and Bonnie and Bobby Simpson, all of Tifton and Gwen Spurlin of Ty Ty; and five grandchildren, Madeline L. Warren, John Thomas Warren, Jobe Jelks Warren, Elliott Claire Warren and Lily Elizabeth Warren.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Homestead Hospice and Georgie Living Senior Home Care for their loving care to Mrs. Warren.
